I'm finally back to my home! Ward 56, where i came from and started off from scratch. I'm so excited that i returned! Hopefully it would be good and be permanent! The feeling was great but when stepping into a place where i have not been wokring for 3 mths made me worry somehow. I was nervous during the 1st few days. Ward 56 had started paperless medication record and i my first day back using it...mmm i was really slow at it. I had to scroll up and down to confirm many times before marking the task done. Phew! But at last i've got used to it! ;)

But i would sure miss the fun moments in ward 61. Though i don't like the place, there were still fond memories la. Were quite close with some of the girls and they are really nice to work with too, but just different places only. ;P

For now, i shall enjoy to the fullest in ward 56 with the work load and the people i love! I'M HOME! I LOVE IT! <3<3<3

remembered mentioning having 4 days off from work. it was really great! the feeling was certainly good! i need not have to think of work nor the people there. i just have to be carefree for 4 days. though it's short but really appreciate it much!

it was my birthday during the 4 off days. met up with the girls for bbq session over at east coast. and not to mention that yun ru's birthday actually falls on the same date as mine! so we both celebrated together and had gathering as well. the preparation was tough and mainly would be on food. it's so hard to guage how many people to how much food. learnt something, not to order too much - as people won't eat much of bbq food! that's true! mostly ate the satays and chicken wings. shouldn't have ordered so much stingrays!!! argh!! but nevermind..thanks to all girls who turned up.

well i certainly had a great birthday with all the wishes from my friends! thanks once again!! :)

argh!! hate to be sick again! been having this chronic cough which irritates me so much that i couldn't talk properly when doing hand over. i guess i would get choked or somehow been into respiratory distress later on.

it has been a mth since my last entry. Life have not been that good. Working in a not so like it environment makes me want to drag myself to work daily. I just can't bring myself to like the place that much.

People mostly are ok but some are just mere not up the standard though they appear to be better than me in other's point of view. But why would i care so much? I'm part of the ward now and i so don't wish to! The feeling of being alone is BAD!!!!! totally hate this feeling! I wanted to go out of this so much and really want to be out of it forever! But thinking of leaving my mentor makes me feel worse. She had taught me so much and now i've made my decision. Hope it wouldn't be hard on her.

Now i'm having 4 days of break. To breakaway from the work but mainly the people over my place. I don't wish to face them daily. It totally turned my moral down to the max. I'm tired, really am. I'll have to enjoy the good 4 days of break to the max!!!!!!!!!! I WANT TO FORGET THE WORK AND PEOPLE THERE!!!!

had happened many things and had simply changes many things. mainly would be me! don't feel appreciated and had no sense of belonging! don't ask me why..as all these flows in one after another concurrently! it's weird and i totally dislike the feeling! but it wouldn't go away! just won't! no matter how hard i try to forget and not to think about, it would just flows in directly whenever i'm free. must i really keep myself busy from not thinking of them????

i'm not pointing fingers nor finding faults. i just want to blast my feelings out on my area. i know myself but will others know? i doubt so! it's so hard to be like before! i'm so plastic and i'm so hate-ing myself for who i am right now! PLEASE GIVE ME A BREAK!!!! I just want to go home...back to the place where i truely belong..where i have the sense of belonging..and being loved...will i get that??

明星志工队

明星志工队 aka Stars for a Cause - is a programme which shows various celebrities joining the volunteer organizations to go to different parts of the world to spread their love. Through the trips, they see the different sides of the places they visit, through the eyes of the less fortunate.

Besides giving physical help by buliding home, library and etc, they also engaged themselves in welfare activities, learn various skills and to get to know the volunteers from all different parts of the world.

Today air-ed the 1st episode and 1st on board was 阿布 from 《冒险王》. He enters the earthquake zone in Szechuan China together with a group of volunteers. He helped one of the people to rebuild his home. He visits the school to help them in rebuilding their library and also taught them about hygiene.

阿布 visited one of the children as he was told by the group's leader that the child(Lan Lan) had hearing and speech impairment after falling ill and did not receive treatment on time. The child had attended school before she was ill and was dropped out due to her disabilities after the illness. Parents of the child were apparently protective of their child as they worried about her disabilities. After much persuasion by the leader and 阿布, the parents agreed to let the child go to school but it was faraway from their place, it was at Chengdu - which caters to disabled child. It was the place where she(Lan Lan) can receive knowledge. Lan Lan was happy as she could go to school again. The team also taught her writing and talking. It really caught my surprise that she managed to pronounce 阿布's name with her husky voice, 阿布 was really touched. From there it marks the end of their visit.

I was really touched by what they had done to the people and how the people responded to their help. Though they are less fortunate, they are still willing to learn and move on be it how bad the situations are. It's also a learning point. I should learn to help and spread the love to the less fortunate.

movied with the ward girls today - faridah, irene and poh kit. mmm it's my 1st movie with them ba...i think so la. could remember if i did watched with them any before. Mmmm guess i'm pretty sure that it's my 1st time movie-ing with them. Hahah =)

well..we had watched Ghosts of Girlfriends Past...and i would say that it's quite a nice movie...hilarious and touching...and of course kind of sexual..haha..

Hmmm it's worth catching...Oh i'm wanting to watch to Thread of Destiny..a jap mobile love story..hee ;) up next!

in isolation ward

i'm being deployed to isolation ward due to the outbreak of H1N1 in s'pore. KKH had open up 4 isolation wards to accommodate the H1N1 cases (children). The cases in KKH are stable.

I'm in isolation ward now and compared to ward 56, it is much better in terms of practicals. In isolation ward, we only have to monitor their vital signs and wait till they had their 8th dose of Tamiflu then we will do a repeat nose swab for them. They have to get 2 samples negative before they could be discharged. The heavier part would be the paperwork. Though we had workflows but still had some small things to work on it.

Mmm apart from that, i'm kind of separated from my ward right now. Mmm feeling kind of "lonely". People who know me will know that i won't talk to people who i don't know. So i hope that i would return to 56 really soon. It's not that i'm anti-social, but that's me. That would not change. =)

Hopefully these would end soon.

i have not been updating my entries since last month. Oh..that's so long..but it's still alright la!! Hee!!

many things have happen..people changing...changing of new look..changing of taste and changing of style. all these changes are changed due to time mostly..haha.. well that's my views only la..so please don't get offended or what.

not sure what i should name my entry..really can't think of a suitable title for it. had nothing really eventful happen recently - only swine flu and recent wedding attended.

swine flu had being hot topics among people. daily bulletin would be on "what's the latest statistics? Which country had their 1st confirmed case? How many dead so far?.." so on so on...more or less it had become part of our life. people would be talking about it anytime and anywhere. it's just the hotest topic right now.

attended my cousin's wedding a few sundays ago, mmm again i was envious at the moment. mmm i guess most ladies would have that too? i'm certainly sure i had..haha. had imagine how my wedding would be like in the future. how lovely i would look in that white gown..and with the hair do..aww..i think i'm thinking too much!! *crap*

Influenza A (H1N1)

Recently there's an outbreak of human Swine influenza and had claimed many lives in Mexico. It is a respiratory disease of pigs caused by Type A influenza virus. A number of confirmed human cases infected with the new strain of swine influenza A (H1N1) virus have been identified.

Human infection with flu viruses with infected pigs are most likely to occur when humans are in close contact with infected pigs. The spread of swine flu is believed to spread the same way as seasonal flu, commonly by coughing and sneezing. Swine Flu infection is contagious.

The signs & symptons are almost the same as seasonal flu. Signs and symptoms of swine flu may include the following:

High fever
Cough
Muscle pains
Sore throat
Fatigue or tiredness
Headache
Nausea
Vomiting or diarrhoea

If you really don't feel well, please consult a doctor and remember to wear a mask along. This can prevent transmission by human-human along the way. =)

1 of the way to protect against swine flu infection is to prevent it from spreading. Since the illness occurs through direct contact with infectious material and respiratory secretions, it is important to practise good personal hygiene. Remember what we did during SARS? That would be the same.

Prevent the spread of infection, we all have a part to play. =)

car driving

managed to rent a car to drive during my leave but was somehow disrupted due to some stupid technical faults. but i'm lucky to drive for at least a day...but felt sad for my pocket. ARGh!

anyway i'm able to drive, though nervous but still quite ok la. I actually drove from turf city then to SIM uni to send Li Hisen to school then off i drove to Jurong Point. Gosh! It was my 1st time i drove so far and my 1st time there. Hahah! That was what Hannah was commenting. Did my 1st parking...still consider ok but just very nervous only. my hands were constanting stationed to the steering wheel. Drove FIAT..not so familiar car and would never ever drove that again.

Had the experience and learn something. That would not stop me from driving! =)

gosh the humid weather is killing me. no matter using cold water to bath, it still wouldn't cool me down. Gosh it's really the summer time now ba!!! Can't wait for the cool season to be back!

GE with Dehydration

I was badly hit with GE(Gastroenteritis) with dehydration from 7 Apr but with vomiting symptoms developing on 6 Apr. I was able to tolerate fluids on the 1st day and had seen a GP as well. It was still within control and i wasn't that weak yet. However on the following day, i couldn't able to drink as i would throw up whenever i drink. My whole body was so weak and i felt very lethargic, so i get my mum and sis to accompanied me down to SGH's A&E.

I was being dripped and put under observations in the observation area. Tummy was bloated all the while, so uncomfortable! Dripped and managed to tolerate fluids well without vomiting seen. Phew! No need for admission. Headed home after that and felt better the next 2 days.

Started fluids then soft diet and then diet of choice in a slow manner. Hahaha but my appetite seems to be getting better and able to tolerate well, so i actually didn't listen to advices and proceed to eat what i want in very early stage. Oops! Better not let my mum know about it! Haha!

Well, i'm now much better and eating well! This was just an update for the past week. =) No matter what cause was it, it's very important to do strict handwashing!! And to drink more to prevent dehydration! =P

tough at work

work is getting tougher and tougher. more and more things are changing each day. there's different things each day. Oooo i'm not sure how would i describe it, but it's certainly eventful each day.

Like yesterday, i had lotsa of ventolin puffs to administer. Not just that, they are all very frequent: 15min X3 and 30min X3. I was running around to get colleagues to counter check with me before i administer. Once given, the other one was due and so on. Wah!!! Lucky i didn't get them mixed up and mostly were given timely. Haha!! It was funny that when people ask me "now who is due for puff?", i would stone awhile before answering them lo.

Today helped alot in practicals - blood cultures, Full septic workout and wound dressing under sedation. OH!! Just these 3 nearly made my blood boil. Mmmm sometimes i'll think, how come must i be so hard working to help her in everything? When i'm the in-charge, i was held up with the practicals and meds. BUT when i'm junior, i think i'm doing more of the in-charge work - especially practicals. LOL!! That's so amazing lo!

Oh woei chyi!! Please try not to be that hard working ba!! LOL!! Wahaha!!

Had pretty good mood for work today but it was somehow turbed-up by someone else. OH NO!! Totally had no mood for work and other stuffs. Really felt terribly sorry towards others and especially students who were over my cubicles today. Hope they won't stereotype me and attitude staff. LOL! But at some times i really did orient them abit before their CI actually comes for them la. Haha..so still not that bad!

Truth that when working there's bound to have frustrations but please....today is really too much!! I think it's somehow testing my patience tolerence and i guess sooner or later it'll exceed the level. Hmmm i think that each time she disturbed me, i've actually increased the tolerance level higher...well don't you think so? Haha..i was amazed too. Haha..initially my face was kind of "black" but later it was back to "red" but still boiling inside me. haha!! i think i can do it better. LOL!

chaotic night

Finished my night and that was the most tiring and busiest night ever for me i guess. There were lots of admissions and all need to do practicals - taking bloods, setting iv plugs, in out and lumbar punture. Apart from that, i had one case which require hourly monitoring...plus all these and that, i totally don't have the time to sit down nor to munch something to eat. Whole night i was walking in and out of the treatment room where all practicals were done there.

I didn't finsh my work on time as expected, and in the end i got to write my report after i have handle over to the morning staff. I left the ward at around 9am...i think that's the latest for me so far.

However my 2nd night was slightly better but lots of drips to handle and lots of iv antibiotics to give. Oh!!! It was my first time giving so many ivs at 6am!!! I total have 11 of them..and i have to start to prepare very early!! Lucky my side was full, if not i dunno what to expect again. Well my night is over...got to rest more to replenish the tiredness. Be having my treat tmr. Woohoo!!

Happy Chinese New Year to everyone out there. It's the year of bull and hope that everyone would have the working spirit of a bull. Haha...work hard play hard and study hard!! May all have a prosperous and a blessed new year!

1st day of CNY is the same as previous years. Happy and tiring at the same time. Happy coz it's a time where all relative gathered together and update one another as some we really hardly meet each other, at most twice a year only. Tiring coz previous night (NY eve) we had stayed up late to watch the NY eve's programmes and to 为our parents to “守岁”...eRm i can't remember if that's the right character =P

Anyway, day 1 have gone. So 14 days more for CNY!!

i've passed my driving test

i had took my driving test and had passed at the 1st attempt. Haha i'm very happy and nervous at the same time till i forgot to inform many of the rest. i'm sorry for that. Finally i've cleared my driving, it's not that easy but i had fun these 2 yrs. Oh and on 09012009 marked 2yrs of driving oh. Hoho!!

Well now shall see how i should practise on my driving le. to rent or buy??? Hmmm..thinking and deciding...=)

上网观看《小娘惹》的大结局，感触良多。

剧情有点儿在预料当中，不过却还很精彩。

看完后，真地对娘惹文化特别有兴趣，故事结局也精彩。

可惜的是月娘不在了，陈锡也没出现，也没提到玉珠最后怎么了。

不过这还是我最喜爱的电视剧！XD

New Year - 2009

It's my very first entry of the year 2009. Mmm should have did it earlier but i was just too lazy to log in. Well it's a brand new year so hopefully everything would be good and better. Whatever happened in 2008 shall be all erased away and leave no traces of it. Let's look forward to 2009.

Mmm but before that i just wanna say that 2008 was indeed an eventful year for me. I've experienced happy and sad moments. I believe everyone has that too. Well i'm happy that i've met many people and all are pretty different - characters. Some leave memories while some don't but at least we had known each other somehow. Sad - that would be departures of families and patients. And working partners who have left the organisation. Sad to see them leave as we were once working very close with one another and had lots of fun too.

Well that's all i guess. Shall say this right now..haha..Whatever happened in 2008 shall be all erased away and leave no traces of it. Let's look forward to 2009. :D

So what's my new year resolutions? I want to be happy and to enjoy the time with my family and friends. Lastly hope that i would find my special one....

Side track abit...My TP (traffic police test) is only next week. And i'm really stress and anxious already. Still couldn't get certain things right and it would happen again during each revision lessons. Same old mistakes...just can't figure it out on how to minimise them. How to get less than 18 point??? That's very tough!!! Stress stress stress~~~~

I was browsing through YES 933 FM's website and happen to see this advertisement movie clip on Lenovo Ideapad S10. They had used JJ Lin's latest single "Always Online" as the themesong for the advert clip. Clicked on it and had viewed the full movie clip. It was really touching.

People would find it the same as some would use the same storyline over and over again. But i find that it wouldn't get tired at all. Using different songs as theme would definitely bring out different feelings. I've watched it and teared. So i would like to share it with you. Just click on the link and it would bring you there.

不只娘惹文化吸引我，就连“小娘惹”的故事也很动人。喜欢上故事里的人事物，就连场景都布置很豪华又漂亮。

Finished my moonlight resonance and my tear glands are already emptied. Lots of tears had been loss for each episodes. Be it happy, sad or angry, my tears would still flow down uncontrollably.

Ooo i'm really getting more and more emo. Despite sadness, there are still happy moments in the drama. Some parts are really happy till you can laugh it out.

Anyway my laughter is back le..haha..BUT i will still watch this type of drama for sure!!

Recently i'm beginning to lose my patience easily. I'm not sure why but i guess it has reached my tolerance level..and it's over the limit already. So that's why am pretty frustrated lately. I know i couldn't complain at all coz it's part of my job and is within my job scope. BUT sometimes it happen really too sudden. ANd not only that! It's all at 1 go. I know i need to learn how to plan my time and do things in a systematic way, but sometimes just couldn't help it. Now all i can do is to finish whatever undone and smile to stay calm.

I apologise for showing frustration to those who asked me regarding patients and when handing over report. I should have control it in a better way. BUT anyway i guess i have to learn to let it out and forget and start everything anew cm.

Have been watching this drama 溏心风暴之家好月圆 since on leave. Gosh i'm really addicted to it and i would say that finally i got to watch this drama le. Always wanted to watch but just could find the time to rent or watch it online. Lucky on leave..if not i don't know how long must i wait to watch it. Haha~~~

Watched the 1st series it was awesome. This time is the 2nd series and it was a total different story but the main point is there. All elements are still the same - family, siblings, love. It's all inside. After watching i'm becoming more and more emo. Haha~~ I think i'm living in the story..haha can't take myself out le...what am i talking about?? *crap crap*....

Well, if you have a chance to watch it, please go ahead and watch it. It wouldn't disappoint you. I can promise for sure! If not please come and find me~~ Haha~~

friday (17 oct) was the last episode of 215 的约定. it's a radio drama airing on yes 933 which i have mentioned in earlier entries. the last episode was very saddening though warm in the end. But there is still some loss especially when 敏杉 wasn't there anymore to view 岳凌's success. But they once have a good and strong friendship which 岳凌 wouldn't forget. Well..结局是美的，但总是会有些遗憾。。。

Finally movied 画皮 with Hannah le. Indeed a great and touching movie. I can say Zhou Xun really plays the demoness well..especially the part she really declare the love for general wang sheng played by chen kun. Ooo and also the last part when she let go everything and let wang sheng and pei rong (played by zhao wei) came back to live again.

Other than Zhou Xun, Zhao Wei also acted well too. Especially when she had decided to give up her husband Wang Sheng to Xiao Wei (ZHou Xun's role) and she drank a poisoned tea offered by Xiao Wei. Hoping her husband to be save, she came into term with Xiao Wei. Hai....lotsa to talk about but i guess you would have to watch it yourself. Nice nIce!!!

Also not forgetting the theme song 画心 which sang by 张靓颖. Nice nice...though it's around 7 min plus but it's really nice!

Friends have been asking what will i do when i finish my bond. Well that's a tough qns right now, coz i don't have a clear idea of what to do next. To continue my bond or not? Unsure answer to be given to many. To further my studies - local or overseas? Again unsure.

Well there's lots of unsurity in life, but i guess i will have to plan my plans step by step. No rush and within my limit. Actually have thought of many things but just waiting for the right time to arrive to fulfill them. Still have some time to plan some short term goals, so let's get started! =)

Also 触摸 which was sang by 陈迪雅 was made the theme song for this drama. The association was really great. The story with the song...it just match perfectly great. 10 more episodes to go...

Finally get to watch this show <<篮球火>> online. Ever since they start to film and doing casting, i'm already so into it. Can't wait for it to show in S'pore. Though it can be viewed online, i really do not have the time to sit there for hours to wait for it to load....BUT anyway i've watched till the 5th episode online le..haha..though slow but i'm satisfied! =)

In this show i get to see 3 charming guys - Jerry Yan, Wu Chun and Luo Zhi Xiang. Ooo nice guys in show but Wu not really la. BUt i still like him..hee..=) Nice storyline and wonderful casting...NICE! Haha that's all i can say. So now i just have to wait for its vcd to arrive in town but meanwhile i'll try to watch online when i'm free.

Just realised that i've been working very hard for this week and i'm really very tired. The workload is getting more heavier and heavier. AND sometimes i really feel SOB (shortness of breath)..Haha maybe not that serious la but sometimes it's really busy that you can't take a short break. Anyway that's my job...i can't grumble much...

So now i just have to work hard to enjoy my leave later on...which i don't know when is it..haha just have to wait!!!

my birthday

had a great birthday this year. celebrated with my kakis from work and also guan hao & qing yuan. oh guan hao's birthday was on the 14 sept so we celebrated together as well today. the girls were K-ing at marina sq's Kbox and then meet the guys for dinner at HK cafe marina sq later on. Hmmm don't know what to say leh..haha just had fun with them. Really had a fun time. We chit chat among ourselves. Haha..alot of stuff to talk about.

Well wanna say thanks to the girls who planned it and the rest for making it possible. Especially hannah..haha u really plan everything. thanks for your hardwork. Hee!! thanks for the presents and the card(using my pen to write lo)..haha..and not forgetting the yummy ice cream cake. hee hee.

My wish...hope that more good things would come and less of the bad stuff. hope i'm a more happier person and hopefully i'll find my that some one 1 day.haha..that's all. =))

Finally updated my blog. Wasn't feeling very well for the past week and the feeling was really terrible. Headache, giddiness, blocked nose and felt nauseous for the whole week. That was really a terrible one. But lucky everything is fine now. Eating well and playing well. Haha!!!

Just finished my cycle of night and it was indeed a tired one. 1st night was never ending monitoring vital signs and lucky 2nd night was much more settle. Nice to have our old HO back..so no need to remind him alot of things. Haha!! Save time too!!

weather is becoming wet and cold. my nose soon can't really tolerate it, at any time it will soon break down. Haha. got to really be compliant in using my nasal spray!!

however hope this news can break the coldness! Haha!! i've finally cleared my final theory test (FTT) for driving. After draggin for so long, finally passed at 1st attempt. Yeah!! So next step is to complete my 30 demerit points assessment before i can book for my traffic police (TP) test. Hopefully by end of this year i could be able to pass and obtain my license. Yeah!! Getting more n more excited now!!

heard from friend that he'll be going to NUH after his KKH postings. That's good! Afterall they have completed their 4 mths tough times with the kids for their 1st time after they've graduated. i would say overall they are good, so keep up the good work. Hope to see them back as medical officers (MO) ba. Not much sadness after hearing that but relieve only. I have gotten over him. Great!!

i'm still not sure if i have gotten over him but i am definitely trying very hard to erase him off my memory. it's really hard but i still have to do it. i can't bear to see myself sobbing over him and be stoning each time when i'm free.

i realised that i felt much better when i don't see him. but sometimes fate just play trick on me and let me met him somewhere else. we just smile and i don't bother to initate anything else. i'm really worn and tired over all these.

now i don't wish or even dare to think anything more than work. i don't want to be depressed again. now i have to refrain myself from alot of things i guess. i just want to concentrate on my work and nothing else. it's hard but i'm ready for it. jia you woei chyi! i'm sure i can do it.

A new start

Had a hard time forgetting him. Just as when i wanted to, he would appear in front of me. I don't wish to be hurt nor depressed when seeing him. I just want things to be back to normal as before.

Will i have the chance to see it? Will i give him the chance to say hi? Or will i give myself the chance to start everything a new?

All theses are unanwserable questions. We won't know what will happen later next but i hope that there might be a change or miracle would happen. I know it's hard...i guess i'm just contradicting myself.

Frankly speaking, i don't feel good when seeing him around. Can i say i'm avoiding him? Or just mere concidence that we always didn't talk to each other..as we're working different sides most of the time. The word avoiding is very scary. I'm very scared when i mention this word, just don't know why.

For now i just hope that everything would fall back as before. Just like the 1st day i met him..when was his 1st call in my ward. Still can remember that he was slow at reviewing my patients and clerking new cases. But anyway, without that, i don't think i'll start to notice him. His gentleness and caring to the kids really draw my attention to him..and thus feelings developed.

But now i don't ask for more. Let's just be friends like before. I would be happier then.

have been very lazy these few days for nt updating my bloggie. haha not busy just merely LAZY. anyway i'm here with some updates. wahaha~~

have started working with the very strict reg LKP and i would say so far so good. haven't kena from him yet but i can't let my guards off. still have to maintain the standards ok. haha. maybe his mood is kind of nice ba. so far he is quite nice la, never ask or demand much. anyway it's our job to complete what we are suppose to do and we must do it right. so make sure everything is within standards and follow the protocol then there won't be any problem. he wouldn't pick on us le. wahaha!!

apart from work, i've also went Batam with hannah and faridah. well it was my 1st time there and it was kind of shock as well la. the things there were all very cheap and i have found the long lost A & W fast food. after it has been closed down in s'pore, i haven't have the chance to taste the curly fries & the waffle. wah!!! so delicious lor!! can't wait to return for that again! shopped as well and bought my black converse shoes for S$26. it's really cheap. should have gone there earlier on lo. haha!!

well for my programme after today's work was to hang out with my girls at party world for our K session. never been there before so tried there as they were having some promotion as well. the system was good but the session ended almost on time la..=( anyway after K was better. maybe due to the work stress ba or maybe...haha i don't know. whatever la.. i want to go for another session again!! must go plan!! =)

what a warm sleeping day

wAh the weather is really very warm. No choice but to wake up early due to the warm weather. Argh!!! Should have slept longer..but nevermind..at least i have watched the 15th episode of the Forensic Heroes 2..Haha..very satisfied!!!

Finished my night and i would say it wasn't that busy at all. Took B2 side and don't really have admission over my side except on my 1st night with only 1 admission. Just merely monitoring and feeding babies. Haha..managed to complete my job by 7am..haha!! However 2nd night was very sleepy so took half an hour nap before continue working. Enjoyed this night, hopefully i would have this type of night again =)..hee hee...

shopping spree

Woo just finished my night and slept for few hours before leaving for my shopping spree with my sis. Haha..1st stop to exchange her top's size from Outfitter Girls and in the end i bought 2 tees for myself from there. Next we stroll around Plaza Singapura (PS) and headed to DOROTHY PERKINS and bought 1 black top again. =) After that we trained down to Raffles City.

Mmmm actually my main aim is to buy a new pair of sandals from Birkenstock. Haha in the end shopped in PS first before heading there. Well browsed through all the designs and picked a pair of light blue Papillio sandals..lucky there's discount..if not it would be very Exxx!!! Hahaha...Finally gotten my very own Papillio le..Heee!! *GRIN GRIN*

Well finally completed my spree for now...shall plan for next one maybe in next few months?? Hahaha!!! =)

Well my night was great. Both night's HO on-call were good and have worked before. Especially my 2nd night, it was my most enjoyable and beautiful night..i would say. Finally have the chance to do night with my fave HO. Hee...hopefully there would have more chances too!! =) *PRAY PRAY*

Though 1st night there was blood transfusion, it was still alright. Thanks to Dao Jing. She really guided me through the procedure. Not only that, i enjoyed working with Dao Jing..haha she's getting more cuter especially she has become a mum le!! =)

A year at work

Woohoo today marks the full 1 year that i have worked in kkh after graduation. It's kind of amazing =) Well This 1 yr is really fast and no longer under the label of "new staff". Oh more responsibilities have to be taken and must look after junior nurses le.

Well this whole year has been a remarkable one. Knew and met many different types of people. Drs, nurses and students. Haha..really pretty fruitful. Apart from that, knowledge has also increased. Though maybe not that much, at least have something in mind la. Able to do most things by myself but sometimes still don't feel that secure if my choice was right so most of the time still have to seek for 2nd opinion. Which i always did..haha!! But i still enjoy the whole process.

Anyway thanks to all the people who have helped me and guide me through..wanna hug u all..*HUG HUG*...and not forgetting my 2 fave buddies..u should know who u are!! =P

tiring night

Finished my night and it wasn't that busy, just merely lots of tube feedings and changing to do. 1st night lots of feeding but thanks to xiao yan, farah and irene..they really helped me alot with the feeding and changing as well. Not only feeding, there were alot of 2 hourly parameters. haha with all these, it's definitely tiring... =(

2nd night was slightly better but still have 3 tube feeding all at the same time. Haha...got help from them again!! thanks!! Mananged to finish all things before 7, so that's not bad de. Haha!! Well this round of night is the most tiring one. Argh!!! Got to have a good retreat for myself lo...

Guess most of you have been watching the Hk drama "Healings Hands 3" which is currently showing in Ch U every mon to fri 10pm ba. It's really a awesome show i would say. A show i won't missed it. But what a pity! I didn't really catch the 1st 2 series namely - "Healing Hands 1" & "Healing Hands 2". I would say all the 3 series were really great. Must really find time to go and rent the 1st 2 series.

It's about the medical field and many differents encounter by the various healthcare workers. Not to sure about the 1st 2 series but from the very end of the 2nd series was about the outbreak of SARS (2003) and how hongkongers cope with it. Now with more exciting and heartwarming stories in the 3rd series. It's really worth catching it. =) If there's a chance, will sure share with all again.

Ooh finally my fave Hk drama "Forensic Heroes 2" is out!!! Now is showing in HK till 9 episode so far. =( Which means that i have to wait for a few months more before it will appear in my vcd rental shop for rental. Hai..but definitely worth the wait!! =)Well this time the same old cast will be in and also added in my all time fave actor Kevin Cheng. Aww..finally can see his show le. Haha.. =P Shall wait for it patiently.

i'm back with updates. =)

Work load is still as per normal. Forever busy like a bee. Got weekend off so went JB with irene, faridah and sumi. Met they at woodlands checkpt after work, heavy jam so we left ard 4plus. Reached JB and checked-in to New York Hotel. Quite nice lah. Room is pretty spacious. Settled down and headed for dinner, after that shopped in city square shopping centre. Bought 2 tee shirt and a dairy for shu zhen. haha as usual didn't talk much and got complain from they loh. Haha..they really took good care of me coz 1st time in JB..haha =P

Sumi wanted to buy triple cheese pizza so we cabbed the te place to buy but we got the place wrong and we went to the other place instead. AND to the 2nd shop, the staff there wasn't friendly at all and in the end we didn't buy any and left the resturant angrily. ARGH!! We walked back as we thought it was nearby ma..so we walk n walk..haha still can't get to our hotel. In the end we cabbed back to hotel. Bought food from opp of our hotel as supper and headed back to our rooms. Back in our room, we ordered room service but in the end we can't finished all the food. =(

Well had fun in JB though i'm quiet. Travelling again after Langakwi really makes me want to travel more. I think i am into travelling le. Haha!! Shall save more money and travel with my mr right. Haha!!!

Met up with shu zhen today after for a long time. Thought it would be awkward but it was alright after all. Dined at swensens and chit chat for an hr plus. Talk abt work, drs and personal things. Well meet her coz this yr marked our 10 yrs of friendship and just want to sit down eat and talk comfortably. and i think we did. =) hope we will have more time of that. hope we can be like before. =)

Long weekend break and the ward was very busy in the morning. Almost like fighting war..haha well not that serious la. but it's forever busy de. never free ever since i started prcp there last year. though it's the busiest ward but i like it. like paeds medical alot especially in wd 56..wahaha..!!=)

our ward NC had came back from leave and today was her 1st day back. Gosh!! was very stress and tense when she was with me. Talked about pt's problem and some other things to note was really tough. Coz she will start to nag again especially when it's the most busiest time, i'll find her irritating la. sorry but that's true! Bleah..=P

MMM went back by long route as usual to self reflect and have a peace of mind after a long day of work. Bus-ed back and thought alot about what have gone wrong. Not say i think too much but it's good to do some reflections. Haha.. =) Anyway that's my norm la..so friends who see this entry pls don't find it weird. =)

On the other hand, i'm happy today. okie that's all! =)

busy day

today is really a busy day. started to admit cases from nearly 6pm onwards. Gosh! And 15 mins later came another case. Then followed by another in another 15 mins time. Aiyo!! Come how must send up one by one so closely??!! At that moment we were like mad house BUT thanks to other staffs for helping me - with the changes, taking of bloods and doing admissions. And not forgetting my partner for today - Isabel. Thanks alot xiao bei. hahaa!! =) and also weiling, safrina and mama chee. =))

earlier on Bel intro-ed a Jap drama titled Last Friends. actually i've heard and read about it but haven't go watch it. Heard from Bel that it's nice. Shall go view it online. Hee....more jap intro from Bel wor... =)

movied Accuracy of Death with shi min today. Haha i think she's going to be my movie kakis sooner or later. A movie i wanted to watch very much after seeing the trailer and synopsis in mags. A Takeshi Kaneshiro movie..haha..he is so handsome and charming. Awww...

Lotsa of funny parts in the movie. well he is a Grim Reaper so some terms used by humans were all alien to him. haha can really laugh lo. He likes to listen to music and will be engross to it. And he is also a "Rain Man"..haha...coz whenever he appear it will sure rain..and he always can't see the clear blue sky. Overall, quite nice movie.

well my nights were kind of smooth though 1st night we were anxious about the nnj (neonatal jaundice) baby..as there might be a blood exchange transfusion going on..but luckily the serum bilirubin (product that results from the breakdown of hemoglobin) came down and blood exhange was cancelled. Phew~~ Took B2 side and didn't admit at all on 1st night but 2nd night 1 case only.

1st night on-call was a HO who i didn't see before. was quite pissed at first before start of shift so when he ask me qns i, "HUH" him quite fiercely..er..felt kind of bad later on. but he still came forward and ask me qns again despite what happen earlier on. haha in total ask me almost the whole night leh..haha..

2nd night on-call was dr koh. our ward dr..wah damn funny. he didn't change his shoes so i kindly remind him to change his shoes when he's on-call next time..coz it's very noisy and i told him that. assisted him setting IV plug and we joke awhile. Well 2nd night wasn't bad after all. Hee.. =P

the movie stars korean star - Rain, Emile Hirsch and Matthew Fox (from LOST)... after the movie, i'm not fond of Rain but Matthew Fox...He is really charming and handsome. Haha..melted..~~~

what a lovely MORNING. Wahaha!!! Well lovely due to the nice weather in early morning which allow me to overslept. Haha...happily slept till 710am and received a call from xin ying (my colleague) asking where am i. Wah kind of paiseh and blur at that time and i actually answered her "i am still in bed". Quickly bathed and cabbed down to ward. Luckily waiting time wasn't long, managed to reached ard 8am. Bleah =P

Anyway rounds was fast this morning...Mmmm must i say i like Dr Rashida coz she sees the patients very fast or to thank the 3 HOs who came back to do rounds even during weekends? Hmmm..Well credits to all ba.. Haha =)

Lotsa of fun and laughter today especially when Aka made fun of me. Haha as usual i would blush lo. Haha..just not mention the details. haha!! Also bullied Dr Koh to help me pick up my pen. Not actually bullied la, coz he needed my help and i had difficulties picking up my pen so ask him to help me lo. Lucky he's kind leh. =P

Mother's Day today. Bought Sushui combo from sakae for my mom. Hope she likes it. Shall have a sumptous meal later on. Hee =))

wasn't very busy today but not relax as well. in-charge 13-24 today and woah~ lotsa of dicharges today. 2 discharges from B side and 4 from C side. Hee hope that xiao yan won't be mad at me. Bleah =P

today's round was slow. finished reverse round over my side at around 11am. Aiyo. Quickly glanced through before leaving for break. Lunched and quickly finish up my report writing. This new HO Dr Koh stood next to me at my trolley flipping through the case notes started talking to me. He asked me to check if there are things not done by him. I was like huh, "u should have wrote it down ma. Aiyo." Well i was lazy la but still help him. OH he was reading the plan "trace CXR" loudly and i thought he was talking to me so i answered, "hey i'm not the one who's going to trace it. You should be the one lor!" Haha then he turn and smile at me lo. Aiyo.

well this bunch of HOs are newly grads and fresh. well got to give them time and allowance but not too much. cannot be too nice to them too..haha!! alright, i'm tired. more updates to come! =)

I'm finally back from Langkawi. tripped from 22Apr to 25Apr. Erm..actually i'm back on 25 apr but just lazy to blog straight away. Hahaha~ Frankly speaking this is my 1st time taking plane. Haha!! And the feeling was really great, just don't like the pressure, other than that it's ok.

Day 1, reached Langkawi and headed straight to our resort - Holiday Villa. A nice cozy resort to stay in. We rent a car and started driving on the 1st day. 1st visit was to the Langkawi Parade Shopping Mall. We drove from our resort to city area. It was nice to drive (i'm not the one driving) as there wasn't any traffic lights from the village till city area. Nice Nice!! Anyway we reached the shopping mall, it was quite a disappointment as it didn't appear as it was in the map guide. After combing the mall, we continue our journey to find the night market of the day. Well over at langkawi, they have night markets at different areas everyday. But sad to say we didn't managed to find it. Lastly we dined at Rasa resturant for dinner before we head back to our resort. It was situated pretty near to our resort. Oh and the pple in langkawi is really friendly and helpful. Our car suddenly got some problem and it keep on alarming, and it really freak the 2 girls out. Lucky the uncles ard came and helped. Thanks!! uncles =D And we returned back to resort.

Day 2. Had breakfast buffet in resort and headed to our 1st stop - Underwater World. Adult per pax 38RM. Walked in for almost 2 hr plus and took quite a lot of photos of the fishes, penguins and other sea creatures. Hmmm it wasn't very fascinating and i didn't really see any sharks expect for small baby sharks only. We walked back and fro and tried another route also could n't find so in the end we gave up and headed for lunch opposite Underwater world. Lunched HK style meal and it was really worth it. Nice Nice!! Drove down to the beach and took some pics and booked activity "Island Hopping" for the 3rd day - paid 20 Rm deposit. Drove to Eagle Square for some sight seeing and photo taking. One of the trademark of Langkawi - An Eagle. After taking photos we headed down to Langkawi Shopping Fair Mall to shop. Bought quite alot of things and headed to do full body massage. Oh !! and the car can't start and seeked help from others. Thankfully it was ok. We spent 85RM per pax for swedish full body massage. It was really great and awesome. Felt very relax and all stress points were relieved. After that we shopped around the night market and bought lotsa food back to resort for our late dinner.

Day 3. Raining the whole morning. Activity "Island Hopping" was cancelled without any notice or call from the vendor. Stayed in resort till afternoon....rain finally became smaller though it didn't stop. =( Anyway despite of the drizzles, we still went out. 1st headed to the "yellow cafe" to ask about the "Island Hopping", from them they said that due to the weather all sea activities cancelled. I was like "huh"?? just cancel without any notice?? aiyo..felt kinda of "cheated" for my 20RM..but anyway nvm ba..we went off walking along the beach.. It was still drizzling. Headed back to resort to change and went off to Coco Beach Resturant for our dinner. Haha finally got to eat my fave soft shell crab. Wahaha!!! It was nice with the sea view but our dinner was being disturbed by the files..Argh!! Dinner was ard 123RM. After dinner, we drove around the small shops and roamed night market and shop for gifts.

Day 4. Last day in Langkawi. Had breakfast buffet before we headed to the "Amoaras Spa" for our spa appointment. Stayed there for almost 3 hours and it was really a good time to sleep. haha both of us were sleeping..nice nice. It was really relaxing. =D After spa we quickly headed for lunch at a nearby Arabic Cafe as we got to reach the airport by 2.30pm and it was like almost 2 le. Aiyo aiyo!! Mmm the food was nice but big serving...can't finish..billed n quickly drove to the airport. Phew!! Just in time. Returned the car and checked in. Finally boarded the plane..the feeling was sad.

Holiday in Langkawi was finally over. Had fun there though everything was slow la. Anyway...might be going back again ba =DD We shall see... ANyway sorry for the late late entry. Haha lazy ma... =DD Shall upload those photos later date ba..Not ready yet.. =DDD

Now i'm having my annual leave for a week. and tmr i'll be flying to Langkawi. Nice nice island with beaches all around. Awww~~~~

1st time travelling out of S'pore without my family around me. Hope everything would be alright. Be going with bud eunice~~one of my poly gd friends. i'm sure it would be fun. yay!!

Done with all my packings and shall double check everything again before i missed out anything when i reach then....bleah =p...

Hope the 4d3n trip would allow me to relax and relieve all stress from work and other things. Shall be back with a great smile and carefree spirit. Hahaha??!! Am i crapping again?? Hope not...wah..

be working for 2 more days and i'll be on leave le. haha so happy coz be going to langkawi for retreat!!! 4 days 3 nights.. Awww!!!

so now must work very hard for these 2 days so can enjoy during leave time. hee hee!! Ah~~~ keep thinking about langkawi!!! haha..in holiday mood now =DD

Had a great time with amelia, judy and serene tonight. We dined at Compass point's swensen. Ate and chat..haha as usual.. what mostly girls did =D Sat there for almost 3 hrs ba...haha didn't talk much (as usual)...was listening (i'm good at it ok..wahahah!!!)

well...we even said that we shall continue meeting up even after we get married and have kids...and have to bring them along for gathering....wahhaaha!!! Shall be planning for 1 chalet soon!! Can't wait for it!! =DDD

Well the feeling is really great when someone thank you for what you did to her and that's how i feel right now. I'm so happy that my PRCP student made a THANK YOU card to card all of the staff for teaching her and guiding her through. That's so nice and sweet of her!

Hee... this is the 1st time i receive this from a student...the feeling is really..mmm don't know how to describe leh..Wahaha..but it's really happy and touch when receiving it lo. =DD

Hurray!! After 1 week in wd 71...we're finally back in wd 56. Woohoo!!! I'm extremely happy about it. =D

After the renovation, the ward is more cooler and brighter. Haha...though still have the paint smell, i still like the feeling of being back home. Mmmm can really say that i like wd 56 alot already. I wouldn't want to go anywhere other then wd 56. Wd 56 is warm and cozy..and the people are all very nice...kind..heart warming...and tactful...Hee.. just one word to describe "BEST"!!!

Oh i really can't resist the charm of 吴尊。。。His acting in <<公主小妹>> really made me addictted to the drama and also fall for him. Ooo... he is really very charming...unresistable...Hahaha!!!

Actually i prefer him acting than to singing. Just don't really like him singing. Find that it's funny for him to leh..don't know why...but definitely likes his acting now.... i would say getting better and better..and he is making me falling in love to his character...Awww!!!~~~

1st day in "WD 71"

1st day in "wd 71" (aka wd 56 at the moment) was not very good. First of all is the environment, i totally don't like it though it's air-conditioned. I feel that i need to walk alot more compared in wd 56. In wd 71, i was like walking in out of the cubicles most the time, and would always mixed my patients up. Hai...1 cubicle 4 patients...though lesser patients, just not use to it. Please!!! I want to go back to my original wd 56...I miss wd 56 =(

Will be moving back on saturday!!! Yeah!!!

Met up with my aunt today for shopping and also chatting. We met up at somerset and started to shop from orchard robinson. Then took a bus down to suntec and then walked to marina sq to continue shopping.

We ended shopping and dine at sakae sushi. Wahaha!!! Our favourite japanese food!!! =DDDD Also ate my all time favourite chawamushi and soft shell crab!!! Hoo!! Nice Nice!!

Later on took bus with aunt from the esplande and continue chatting throughout the journey till i reach my stop. Haha!! It was realla good catch up with one another. Though had seen each other on cny, both of us didn't chat much as we were busy with our own things - chatting and gaming. Hee...

Well..shall meet up more often!

Happy new year to everyone!!

CNY is here again! With lots of goodies and ang baos to collect. Haha!! One of the festival that i like the most. It's when all families, relatives and friends gather together to chat, eat and game with one another. Haha!! Love to play games with cousins during cny and also chatting with my aunts and uncle. I really enjoy it so much.

Anyway i've to start work on the 2nd day of cny. Hmmm a start of something new? Something different? Have started working and no longer student so i guess have to get use of working during festive seasons ba. Haha!!! Hopefully it will not be very busy ba =DD

These few days in ward is really busy. Mmmm this round's house officer wasn't really good ba. Maybe they are still new to paeds setting. Heard that this is their 1st paeds posting, that's why they are slow and "unskillful" ba. Haha... So bad of me right?!

Met up with eunice today for catch up. Wow...it was like months ago when we last met. Hahah..anyway it's nice to catch up with one another. Talking about working life and personal life. Haha quite alot leh. Mmmm...Dine at ichiban sushi and had a great time there. Hahaha..we chat and eat. The food is really nice. Shall go there again. =D Anyway, we shall catch up again!!!

2007 to 2008

Hope that it's not late to do some recap of my 2007. I was kind of lazy to blog these few days. So sorry =D

Well before i begin my new year resolutions, i would like to recap what had happen in 2007.

I would say that 2007 is one year that i had lots of experience and a year that make me grow. Many things had happened and i have learn alot from there. Changes in my character and attitude was a very good turning point to many things. With that, i managed to mend a friendship..and also with the help of my buddy zx (thanks girl). From then, i begin and learn to cherish and treasure people around me. And try not to take things for granted. And tend to be more open and vocal. Haha..that was good actually. No more black faces..more smiles..haha and i certainly did it =D

2007 is also the year that i've graduated and started working in KKH as a staff nurse. Hahaha i'm starting to like my job alot. I love my ward 56 and the people there. I'm enjoying what i am doing. =D

So in 2008, i would want:

1) To spend more time with my family and friends,

2) To be healthy,

3) To meet all my job requirements,

4) To eat lots of nice food,

5) To travel around,

6) To save more $$$.

And hopefully i would meet that special someone. =D

Hope i would have a colourful 2008.
